Installing and Removing DC Power Supply Units in Check Point Appliances | 8

5. While holding the release lever, pull the extraction handle to remove the power supply unit.

Note - Remove the power supply unit only with the extraction handle to prevent any
possible damage.

Installing a Replacement DC Power Supply Unit

To install a replacement power supply unit:

1. Insert the power supply unit into the power supply slot.

2. Push in the power supply unit until the release lever clicks.

3. Insert the power cord into the power supply socket.

4. Tighten the two DC power cord retaining screws onto the power supply.

5. Make sure that the power LED is illuminated.
