Traps
SNMP Traps
Trap
is a message sent by an agent to a management system indicating that an event has occurred on the
host running the agent. For example, the SNMP service can be configured to send a trap when it receives
a request for information that does not contain the correct community name and does not match an
accepted host name for the service.
Stop SNMP
