Driver Installation 

For Windows® 2000/XP/Server 2003 

1.

 

Don’t plug in SS-USB-100 connector of your computer until 

driver installation is complete. 

2.

 

Please insert the driver CD that came with your SS-USB-100 into 

your CD-ROM Drive. 

3.

 

At the Windows desktop click 

Start

, then 

Run

4.

 

Type 

D:\Drivers\USB\SS-USB-100\Setup.exe

, then click 

OK

.   

(Change 

D: 

to match your CD-ROM drive letter) 

5.

 

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. 

6.

 

Plug the SS-USB-100 into your computer’s USB port. 

7.

 

Open “Device Manager” under System Properties and check if 

there is the device you install under 

“Prolific USB-to-Serial 

Comm Port…”

.  

8.

 

The SS-USB-100 is now ready to use.
