5.3. Connect the supply voltage
PiXtend V2 -L- can be operated with a wide range of power supplies that provide a
stabilized output voltage of 12 - 24 V DC (DC). So it can be useful when working at the
desk to use a simple plug-in power supply. If PiXtend V2 -L- is installed in a control box or
control cabinet, a power supply for DIN rail mounting is recommended.

Connection of alternative power supplies
from page 53 of
this document if you want to use power supplies other than those described below.
