GL100 @Track Air Interface Protocol
4.4. Geo-Fence Alarm Setting
Up to 5 Geo-Fence regions can be defined on the terminal. The terminal will report the status
when it enters or leaves one of the Geo-Fence areas.
Each Geo-Fence region is defined as a circular region defined by a center point and radius. The
first Geo-Fence region is special because the user can also control it by the function key beside the
AT+GTGEO
command.
Geo-Fence checking will only be trigged after successful GPS fixing. The <check interval>
indicates how often the terminal will check the GPS position. When the terminal powers on, it
doesn’t know where it is. So it will report an entering status message or a leaving status message
according to the GPS position and Geo-Fence settings when it successfully gets GPS fixing for the
first time.
The terminal will report a leaving status to the backend server if necessary when it leaves the
Geo-Fence regions. The terminal will report an entering status to the backend server if necessary
when it enters the Geo-Fence regions.
Example:
AT+GTGEO=gl100,
1
,121.412248,31.187891,1000,10,
2
,20090101000000
“
1
” means Geo-Fence 1. “
2
” means to report an alarm message only when exiting from
Geo-Fence 1.
The report message:
+RESP:GTSZI,359231030000010,0,
1
,
0
,1,4.3,92,70.0,1,121.354335,31.222073,20090101000000,
0015,0102100203
The “
1
” indicates Geo-Fence 1; “
0
” means leave. The report message indicates that the terminal
has left Geo-Fence 1 and its current position is (121.354335, 31.222073).
Note
:
For Geo-Fence 0, if function key mode was set as 2 by the command AT+GTSFR before, the
command AT+GTGEO will just initialize the configuration for the alert of Geo-Fence 0 without
alert enabled, and it is necessary to press the function key for 2 times in 2 seconds to enable the
alert for Geo-Fence 0 later.
