3.22. PPS VS. NMEA
Pulse per Second (PPS) VS. NMEA can be used for time service. The latency range of the beginning of
UART Tx is between 465ms and 485ms, and after the rising edge of PPS.

The feature only supports 1Hz NMEA output and baud rate at 14400bps~115200bps. When the baud rate
is 9600bps or 4800bps, it only supports RMC NMEA sentence output. Because at low baud rates, per
second transmission may exceed one second if there are many NMEA sentences output. Customers can
enable this function by sending
―$PMTK255,1*2D‖, and disable the function by sending
―$PMTK255,0*2C‖.
In
All-in-one
solution, the GNSS UART port has a fixed baud rate, and it is 115200bps by default.
