inappropriate handling and use of the product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
This device is designed for household and office use. Do not use this
device with non-computer-related items nor specialized equipment
or apparatuses (e.g. industrial, medial equipment, life-support
equipment, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners etc.).
•
Do not use this device if it is not working properly. In case of abnormal
operation, turn the device off immediately, disconnect it from power
supply and from external device.
•
Any repair can be carried out in an authorized service point
exclusively. Any repair or alteration of the device may be conducted
by a qualified service personnel only!
•
Do not attempt to disassemble the unit. The unit contains no user
serviceable parts!
•
Product for indoor use only. Protect this device from water, humidity
as well as sources of heat and direct sunlight.
•
Install the UPS unit in a location with adequate air circulation.
•
Place the UPS away from the monitor at least 20 cm to avoid
interference.
•
Do not plug the UPS input into its own output.
•
To reduce the risk of overheating the UPS, do not cover the UPS
cooling vents and avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight or installing
the unit near heat emitting appliances such as air heaters or furnaces.
•
Unplug the UPS prior to cleaning. Clean this device with soft, slightly
damp cloth.
•
Do not dispose the batteries into fire as they may explode.
•
Do not open or mutilate the battery or batteries. Released electrolyte
is harmful to the skin and eyes. It may be toxic.
•
A battery can present a risk of electrical shock and high short circuit
current.
•
During the installation of this equipment it should be assured that the
sum of the leakage currents of the UPS and the connected loads does
not exceed 3.5 mA.
•
Beware of possibility of electric shock when disconnecting this unit
from the mains, hazardous voltage still may be accessible through
supply from battery.
