TCD 1042 control panel
The user interface is composed of an enablement button, a joystick, 2 enablement leds and 2 direction leds.

Enablement button
The button enables or disables the control panel.
Joystick
When the joystick is moved to the right at the end of its stroke, it moves the bow or stern of the boat to the right, according to
which thruster is controlled.
When the joystick is moved to the left at the end of its stroke, it moves either the bow or stern of the boat to the left, according
to which thruster is controlled.
Enablement leds
The enablement leds indicate the enabled/disabled state of the control panel.
Direction leds
The direction leds indicate the movement of the boat to the right or left.
All leds are also used to signal any errors or problems.
Use the switch on the power supply line to switch the control panel on and off. Once the power supply has been connected, the
control panel will test the leds. For the led test, all the leds will come on simultaneously for 2 seconds. If no errors or problems
are detected, the control panel will then go to the disabled state (see control panel disablement).
WARNING:
practice controlling the thruster in open water, to avoid damaging the boat with accidentally wrong manoeu-
vres.
