5. Livewell & Raw Water Washdown
This boat comes installed with a 75 liter livewell and raw water washdown system. The livewell is
located in the aft cockpit, while the raw water washdown is located at the starboard aft corner of the
cockpit. The livewell is used to keep baitfish alive by circulating seawater through the tank.
Livewell Operation
Before operating the system, make sure that the livewell / raw water pickup valve is in the open
position. The livewell / raw water pickup valve can be accessed through the bilge hatch.
To fill the livewell, press the switch marked “LIVEWELL” on the switch panel located on the aft port
side of the boat under the gunnel cap. Inside the livewell, there is an aerator spray head that allows
you to control the flow of water. To increase the flow of water, turn the spray head counterclockwise,
while turning the spray head clockwise decreases the flow. Located in the center of the livewell, there
is a drain tube which allows excess water to flow overboard, and fresh seawater to continually
circulate. To drain the livewell, simply unscrew the drain tube.
Raw Water Washdown Operation
Before operating the system, make sure that the livewell / raw water pickup valve is in the open
position. To operate, press the switch marked “RAW WATER WASHDOWN” on the switch panel
located on the aft port side of the boat under the gunnel cap. This activates a 4.0 GPM pump that
supplies water to the washdown sprayer.
Maintenance
Maintenance of the livewell and raw water washdown system will require you to check the fittings
and hoses to make sure that there are no leaks. Check the in-line strainer attached to the pump and
clean if necessary. If the system does require maintenance, contact your local dealer.
If you are storing the boat during the winter, we recommend you winterize the system.
To Winterize the Livewell & Raw Water Washdown System:
Drain the water out of all of the hoses in the livewell / raw water washdown system. Remove the
sprayer from the raw water washdown hose and drain the water out of the hose.
