8. Installation & start up
When installing and operating explosion-proof electrical systems the relevant installation &
operating regulations must be observed at all times (e.g. Self-assessment,
IEC/EN 60079-14 and national regulations).

Threaded Line Bushing
The drilled and tapped (threaded) entry of a flameproof enclosure in which the threaded
line bushing is installed must comply with IEC/EN 60079-1; section 5.3.
