9. Operation, service & maintenance
The operator of an electrical installation in explosive hazardous environments must
guarantee that all equipment is in good proper working condition, operates properly,
monitors and carry’s out regular maintenance and repair work (please observe
IEC/EN 60079-14, IEC/EN 60079-17).
Maintenance work & troubleshooting work must be carried out by suitably trained and
qualified staff only.
You are only allowed to use original spare parts (blind plugs and line bushings) if
replacement or repair is necessary. Damaged parts must be replaced immediately.
All applicable laws and regulations must be observed before restarting or re-
commissioning. Before any maintenance and/or troubleshooting all safety regulations must
be observed.
