Appendix A: Specifications/Approvals
The Telephone Company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations, or procedures that could
effect the operation of the equipment. If this happens, the Telephone Company will provide advance notice in
order for you to make necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If trouble is experienced with this device, for repair and warranty information, please refer to the Technical
Support insert for repair information and the warranty section of this Getting Started Guide for warranty infor-
mation.
In the event of device malfunction, all repairs should be performed by Quintum Technologies, Inc. or an
authorized agent. It is the responsibility of users requiring service to report the need for service to Quintum
Technologies or to one of our authorized agents. In the event service is required, refer to the Technical Support
insert for information.
If the device is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may request that you discon-
nect the equipment until the problem is resolved.
This registered device is capable of providing users access to interstate providers of operator services through
those of equal access codes.
This registered device provides proper answer supervision to the PSTN when DID calls are answered by the
called station, answered by the attendant, routed to a recorded announcement that can be administered by the
CPE user, or routed to a dial prompt and this device returns answer supervision on all DID calls forwarded to
the PSTN. Permissible exceptions are as follows: a call is unanswered, a busy tone is received, a recorded tone
is received.
