10.
Install Ethernet cable
(optional).
Use category 5e or category 6 Ethernet cable that is connected to your
network, plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet socket as shown in
Figure 3
. Use cable guides to
secure the cable. Ethernet cable is optional, as Quilla is able to run off Wi-Fi signals.
(Attach the provided Ferrite Core to the Ethernet cable if connecting to the network using Ethernet.)
11.
Plug the AC power cord into the power brick’s AC power s
ocket. Use cable guides to secure the cable.
(See Figure 3)
12.
Replace the wall mount cover. Ensure the two top hooks are fitted first then bring the cover down and
push to clip into the two bottom tabs. (See
Figure 4
)
To complete the installation, two wall-spacers need to be installed. The spacers are installed on the
wall, then a self-adhesive velcro is used as an attachment between the wall-spacer and Quilla.
13.
Locate the wall spacers and remove the front face cover with a small screwdriver.
(See Figure 5)
14.
Attach both the wall mount spacers to the corresponding velcro pieces preinstalled
on the back of Quilla.
15.
Align the edges of Quilla with the wall mount edges, lift Quilla slightly above the top
of the wall mount; then slide Quilla down (at a 30 degree angle) allowing the back
gaps to catch into the hooks at the top of the mount; the device will fall into place.
Press the spacers against the wall. This will mark where your anchors need to go.
Remove Quilla.
16.
Small divots will now be visible on the wall indicating the center for the two wall-anchors (three
dots/each spacer). Install two wall-anchors in the center of your three divots.
