Push Button Switches
3.1.2
Two (2) momentary push button switches are located to the right of the LCD
display. These are used in various combinations to display diagnostic or status
information and to configure the demodulator.
Figure 15 - Push Button Switches
There are four (4) general modes of operation:
Cycling the Status Display
Pressing and releasing the top switch when not in setup mode will cycle
through a number of diagnostic and status displays. If left in this state the
display will time out and revert to normal operation in five minutes.
Displaying the Demodulator IP Address Settings
Pressing and holding the bottom switch when not in setup mode will display
the IP Addresses which are configured for both the demodulator and the target
server. Releasing this switch will display the demodulator serial number.
This operation will also reset the display to normal mode if it were displaying
special status or diagnostic information.
Setting the Demodulator to the Default Configuration
Pressing and holding both switches at the same time will print a message in the
display “Hold to set DEFAULTS”. Continuing to press both switches after a
few seconds will display “Release to Set Defaults”. Upon release of both
switches the display will print “Setting Defaults”. At this time all of the
demodulator configuration data will be reset to the defaults. If you release
both switches before the release message is displayed, the operation will be
cancelled.
