On / Off switch
Switch the display on by pressing the ‘
’ button for
2 seconds on the front of the control panel. The same
button is used to switch off the system. The system will
shut itself down after 3 minutes not being used to save
energy.
Lighting
By pressing the ‘
’ button you can switch the
lighting on or off. The screen lighting will also be on or
off at the same time. The lighting symbol left on the
screen shows the status of the lighting (on or off). Your
bike is fitted with a light sensor to automatically switch
on the lighting at dusk. Without battery the lighting is
not functional.
Battery indicator
Every bar of the battery status indicator is about 10% of
the total battery capacity. With 10 bars the battery is
100% full. When the battery status indicator shows
no bars, the mid-drive motor will smoothly cease
assistance. The remaining energy is reserved for lighting
which can be used for about 2 more hours.
Assistance level indicator
The assistance level indicator shows which assistance
level you are in. There are 5 levels, with level 1
representing an assistance of 50% (of the own pedalling
force), level 3 an assistance of 120%, and level 5 an
assistance of 250%. In level 0 the motor offers no
assistance. You can adjust the assistance levels with the
‘
’ and ‘ ’ buttons.
Speed
In the middle right of the screen you can see the
speedometer. This can be set to KPH (kilometers per
hour) or to MPH (miles per hour), see
display settings
to change this unit.
Walk assist
: The walk-assist mode can be used by pressing
the ‘
’ continuously. The walk-assist is limited to 5
km/h. The walk assist is only to be used when you are
pushing the bike.
