1. GET TO KNOW YOUR E-BIKE
SOON YOU WILL REALIZE THAT THIS E-BIKE IS NOT A CONVENTIONAL ONE,
BUT ONE THAT HAS MANY SPECIAL FEATURES. LET'S START WITH THE BASICS.
1.1. Pedal assistance
The e-bike is equipped with electric pedal assistance. It will help you to
get around with ease. Based on your speed and the amount of force you
deliver on the pedals the motor will assist you in your efforts. This results
in an easy start when accelerating from a standstill and steady assistance
throughout your journey.
>> Due to the powerful support of the motor you will be able reach
high speeds faster than usual. To get used to this, we advise to use
the e-bike in a familiar setting without too much traffic around
when driving it for the first time.
>> When you start biking, be aware of the assistance that will instantly
be provided by the motor. We advise to use the lowest power level
when driving off.
>> When switching off pedal assistance the e-bike can still be used
just like a regular bike. However, be aware that the lights of the
e-bike will not work when driving around without a battery
inserted.

Switch off the assistance when you step off the bicycle. Never walk
with assistance enabled.
1.2. Assistance profiles and power levels
The assistance provided by the motor can be adjusted to your needs.
Depending on the type of motor on your e-bike, several assistance
profiles and settings are available. You can set your desired profile in
the app and use the control unit on the e-bike to change its power level
settings on the go. By selecting a profile that offers less support you
will be able to drive longer distances on a single battery charge, while a
higher support profile will provide you with more power to climb that big
hill.
>> The amount of pedal assistance depends on the cycling
speed, the current assistance profile and the amount of charge in
your battery.
>> The support of the motor is regulated by the legal speed
limitations. When this limit is reached, the motor will gradually
stop offering support. Pedelecs are allowed to offer support up to
25 km/h (15½ mph) in the EU.
info
Please note: a more powerful assistance profile will result
in a lower range.
