Operating Instructions

The air compressor is designed to inflate automotive and light truck tyres to the

manufactures recommended pressure.

It can also be used to inflate small low pressure inflatables such as sport balls & air

cushions.

Preparation for use:

Before plugging in the compressor ensure switch is in the “OFF” position.

If the compressor does not function check the power connection is secure.

Note: You may have to turn the car ignition on (to position ‘I’)  before starting the

compressor. This is normally the first position without the car actually starting.

Warning

Always check that the car is in neutral and the handbrake is on.

•

This compressor is designed for use with a car 12V DC power supply; do not

•

connect to any other type of electrical power.

Power connection:

Pull out the air supply cable and the power cord.

•

Plug the power cord into the 12V DC cigarette socket (Note: Check that the

•

compressor switch is in the ‘OFF’ position).

Using the Compressor:

Attach the air supply cable (Dia.6, item 1) securely to the tyre valve or other item

•

to be inflated, use adaptors if necessary.

Press the air switch to the “ON” position, the compressor will start.

•

Inflate the tyre (or other item) to the pressure required then switch the

•

compressor ‘OFF’.

Disconnect the air supply from the tyre valve or inflatable.

•

Note: when inflating a tyre always double check the air pressures using an

accurate pressure gauge i.e.  pencil gauge / digital gauge.

Light Functions

Turn the light switch to the flash position, for a 3 LED flash warning signal
