Rack Mount
Options
The 1269 is available with two rack mount options.
The adjustable rack mount ear provides variable extension rack
mounting capability.
Option 01 includes rack mount ears, slide mount/cable duct
adapter and slides.
Options 04 consist of rack mount ears and rack mounting
adapter.

Backplane
The 1269 backplane can accommodate up to 6 C-size VXI
modules and up to 3 B-size VXI or VME modules. The plug-in
Personality Module allows either the
C0 slot
or
B0 slot
to
function as the mainframe
VXIbus Slot 0
location.
The 1269 has a jumperless auto-configurable backplane using
active-automatic daisy chaining for the VME Interrupt
acknowledge and bus grant daisy chain signal lines. This
eliminates the need to manually configure the backplane.
Distribution of the CLK10 reference clock is full differential
providing a low skew timing source.
Power is supplied to the backplane through a direct connection
to the 1269 power supply eliminating wiring and sub-backplane
interconnect boards. The result is increased reliability and
improved dynamic current performance

WARNING
Signal function on Rows A and C of the backplane
P2 connector are assigned by the VXIbus
specification. Verify compatibility when using VME
modules in the B0, B1 and B2 slot locations.
