Interrogative form:
TEST[1 | 2]:TEC:SHORt[:STATe] ==> <ON | OFF>
Returns the current state of the test.
*******************************************************
TEST2:TEC:SHORT[:STATe] <OFF | ON>
Description:
This command checks the functionality of the measurement
stop
TEC (Timing Error Correction) circuit using a short
calibration pulse. Note that this test can only be performed
when the CHECk function is selected.
On reception of this command, the 2461 TYPE C checks the
operation of the TEC circuit continuously until the state is turned
off, another state is turned on, or the CHECk function is de-
selected. The number of test results stored in the main buffer
depends on the <array_size> parameter specified by the last
CONFigure:ARRay:CHECk or MEASure:ARRay:CHECk?
command sent (only one test result is stored if the last
CONFigure or MEASure command sent was of SCALar type).
Note that while the test state is on, the measurement buffer is
constantly updated with new test results.
The value of the test results is a count of pulses, the absolute
value of which is relatively unimportant. However, the results
obtained must be stable.
Reception of this command turns off all other states in the TEST
subtree.
