OPERATION
Extend the telescoping elements to full length and move
them to an angle that produces the best reception. Hold
the elements at their bases while adjusting.
For VHF TV Channels 2–13 and FM radio stations, set
VHF/UHF
to VHF. Gradually turn
ROTATOR
while trying
different settings of
FINE TUNING
until you get the best
picture (or sound, if using the antenna with a stereo).
For UHF TV Channels 14–83, set
VHF/UHF
to
UHF
.
Gradually turn
ROTATOR
and tilt the dish back and forth
until you get the best picture.
FINE TUNING
does not af-
fect UHF signals.
Important: In weak-signal areas you might get slightly
better reception by moving the telescoping elements.
