You can use your TV to monitor an au-

back of the TV.
To view the audio/video source, follow
the steps in “Selecting TV or Video”
and play the audio/video source ac-
cording to its instructions.
Note: If you use the
EARPHONE
jack,
use the TV’s
VOLUME
control to adjust
the volume.
CONNECTING POWER
Plug the TV’s AC power cord into a
standard AC power outlet.
CONNECTING
EARPHONES
For private listening, plug a pair of ear-

-inch mini-plug (not
supplied) into the
EARPHONE
jack on
the right side of the TV.
Listening Safely
To protect your hearing, follow these
guidelines when you use earphones.
• Set the volume to the lowest set-
ting before you begin listening. Af-
ter you begin listening, adjust the
volume to a comfortable level.
• Do not listen at extremely high
volume levels. Extended high-
volume listening can lead to per-
manent hearing loss.
• Once you set the volume, do not
increase it. Over time, your ears
adapt to the volume level, so a
volume level that does not cause
discomfort might still damage your
hearing.
