Using a Headset
You can make or answer calls with hands-free convenience using
an optional headset that has a

-inch (2.5mm) plug. Contact
your local RadioShack store for a suitable headset. To connect
the headset, insert the headset plug into the jack on the handset.
BASIC OPERATION
Making and Receiving Calls
To make a call, lift the handset from the base, then press
TALK
.
You hear a dial tone and the CHARGE/IN USE indicator on the
base and the IN USE/LOW BATT indicator on the handset light.
Dial the number.
To answer a call, lift the handset from the base, then press
TALK
.
The CHARGE/IN USE indicator lights.
To end a call, place the handset on the base or press
TALK
.
Notes:
• When you press a button, a single tone indicates that the
phone has accepted the command. Three tones indicate that
you pressed a button in error or there is severe interference.
