Set the ringer to sound or not to sound. 
You can make calls with the ringer off, and 
you can receive calls if you hear another 
phone ringing on the same line.

Switch to 

TONE

 or 

PULSE 

to match the 

type of service you have. If you have 
pulse (rotary) service, you can switch to 

TONE

 during a call to use tone services.

Note: If you do not subscribe to 
any special services, pressing 

FLASH

 might disconnect the call.

Press 

FLASH

 to produce a timed 

switchhook signal for special ser-
vices such as Call Waiting.

Press 

REDIAL

 to dial the last num-

ber dialed (up to 31 tone or 32 pulse 
digits).

Use this card to record important
numbers.

Side of Telephone

Open the cover to make or receive
calls. Close the cover until it clicks
to hang up.

Press 

NEW CALL 

(switchhook)

 

to 

hang up the current call, and get a 
dial tone to make a new call.
