• The signal strength meter appears if you hold down

or if your radio and the radio you are
listening to are both set to the same channel, interference eliminator code (if used), and
Eavesdrop Reducer code (if used).
• Obstacles that block the signal path might affect the signal strength reading you see.
USING ALERTS
You can set your radio to vibrate, ring, both vibrate and ring, or neither when you receive a
transmission.
