playing a CD

Press the

Power

button. The display

lights up.

Press the

Function

button until the CD

symbol appears. The display will show
that there is NO DISC inserted.

Insert a CD with the label
facing up (if you have the unit
in a horizontal position) or with
the label facing to the right (if
you have the unit in a vertical
position).

The
display
will show
the total
number of tracks on the CD and the
total playing time.

Press the

Play/Pause/RDS

button

to start playing the CD. The display
shows the number of the current track
and the amount of time played.

Use the

Volume

control to adjust the

sound level.

To pause the CD press the

Play/Pause/RDS

button. The

display will show the pause symbol
and the CD symbol will flash.
To continue playing the CD from
where you left off, press the

Play/Pause/RDS

button again.

To stop playing the CD press the

Stop/Band

button.

Press the

CD Eject

button to eject the CD.

searching for a track

You can select a specific track to play or start playing from
a chosen part of a track.

While a CD is playing, use the

Skip/Search/Preset

buttons to select a track. Press

briefly to advance to the

next track. Press

briefly to go back to the beginning of

the current track. Press

again to select the previous

track. Press

or

repeatedly to find your chosen track

You can also use the

Skip/Search/Preset

buttons to

scan through the CD. While a CD is playing, press and
hold

to quickly scan forward through the CD. Press

and hold

to quickly scan backward through the CD.

You will hear the CD playing at a faster speed.

Release the

Skip/Search/Preset

buttons to continue

playing from your chosen track.

CD repeat play

With the Repeat function you can play either one track or
the whole CD repeatedly.

Press the

Repeat

button once. The Repeat

symbol will show in the display with the word
ONE and the current track will play repeatedly.

Press the

Repeat

button again. The Repeat

symbol will show in the display without the
word ONE and the whole CD will play repeatedly.

Press the

Repeat

button again. The Repeat symbol will

disappear from the display. The repeat function is
cancelled.

You can set the repeat function while a CD is playing,
paused or stopped.

using your CD micro system

CD random play

You can play the tracks of your CD in a random order.

Press the

Stop/Band

button. You can not select the

Random feature while a CD is playing.

Press the

Random

button. The display

shows RANDOM.

Press the

Play/Pause/RDS

button to

start playing the CD.

To cancel Random play, first press the

Stop/Band

button. You can not switch off the Random

feature while a CD is playing. Press the

Random

button.

Press the

Play/Pause/RDS

button to continue playing

the CD normally.

auxiliar y equipment

You can connect other pieces of
hi-fi equipment, such as a tape
deck, to your CD Micro System
using the standard phono jack
plug sockets on the reverse of the
main unit.

Consult the instructions that came with your auxiliary
equipment regarding connections and setting up.

Press the

Function

button to select

AUX.

Not all the functions of your
CD Micro System may be
compatible with your auxiliary
equipment.
