WiNRADiO G69DDC User’s Guide
Next to the volume control is the
Mute
button, which makes it possible to
disable the audio output. This is faster and more practical to use than setting
the volume to zero, with the added benefit of not changing the set volume level.
To use the mute control, simply click on this button. Click again to release.
Audio Mixer
The WiNRADiO
Artemis
includes an audio mixer, which makes it possible to
combine audio outputs from the three virtual receivers in various ways. For
example, you could simply listen to all three signals mixed together. Or, you
might be recording with one receiver and listening to the second receiver with
your left ear and the third receiver with your right ear. There are many possible
combinations.
The mixer buttons are located at the bottom left of the audio tab:
If the
Mix
button is disabled, the currently selected receiver will behave as if
there was no mixer at all, and you will simply hear audio from the receiver
which you have currently selected (i.e. the receiver that is
in focus
).
Enabling the mixer button for a particular receiver will connect its audio output
to the mixer. The mixer is stereo and using the
Left
and
Right
buttons, you
have a choice of sending a receiver’s audio to the left or right audio channel,
or both.
To listen to mixed audio, you need to select a receiver which is actually
connected to the mixer, i.e. has the Mix button engaged.
Here are some examples of several mixer button combinations and the effect
they have on the resulting audio:
