Modifying the System's Name on the Titlebar
About this task
This procedure describes how to configure the endpoint to use an alternate system name, such as the
SIP username, on the titlebar (
Figure 58: Scopia XT Series's titlebar
on page 92). You can also do this
as part of the quick setup from the endpoint itself, as described in
on page 84.
The name displayed on the monitors participating in the videoconference (for example:
John-Smith
, or
9th-Floor-Room
, or
NY-Office
) is based on the protocol of the call. If you are connecting over SIP, your
system's SIP username is used, while if you are connecting over H.323, your system's H.323 name is
