Alloy type
Select alloy type (specify components).
Liquid
Select liquid to be used for measurement performance: distilled water, other
liquid of known density.
Temperature
Temperature value to be entered, shall be read form the thermometer immersed
in the liquid. The value is later used for carat content calculation.
If balance is connected to TB-2 thermometer, then balance software reads its
temperature and updates it in a real time.
Density
The liquid density depends on its temperature. Distilled water density is read
form a density table stored by a balance software. Upon entering the
temperature value, the density is updated in a real time.
For WATER option, no parameters need to be specified.
For OTHER option, liquid density for a particular temperature has to be entered.
After all data has been entered, the software proceeds to the measurement.
First, place the sample on a top weighing pan (sample weight measurement in
the air), upon stabilization of indication confirm the measurement.
