SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS:
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord. Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use:
The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product;
If the product is of the grounding type, the extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord;
Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped
over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
WARNING:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

To Use
WARNING:
The entire appliance will become extremely hot when in use and will remain hot immediately
after use; to help avoid burns, always wear protective, heat-resistant oven mitts/gloves when using this
appliance
1.
Ensure the Temperature Control Knobs are in the "OFF" position, and then place the appliance on a flat,
level, stable, heat-resistant surface.
2.
Plug the appliance into a standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
3.
Place cookware onto one or both Burners, and then rotate the Temperature Control Knob(s) to the
desired level (LO, MED, or HI).
WARNING:
Do not use a pot/pan that is wider than the Burner.
4.
To turn off the appliance, rotate the Temperature Control Knob to the "OFF" position and unplug it from
the electrical outlet.
WARNING
: Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use or when it will be left
unattended.
