9.1. Selection of the cutting knife.
Only use T-shaped blades. The cutting sheet must not be longer than necessary to perform the cut. When cutting with small
radii, use narrow cutting blades.
9.2. Placing and Replacing the Cutting Sheet.
When installing the cutting sheet, work with protective gloves. There is a risk of injury to the cutting edges of the sheet. Before
installing, clean the tail of the cutting sheet. A dirty tail can not be locked securely. Move the blade attachment bush so that you have
access to the hexagon bolts. Insert the cutting sheet until it stops in the clamping slot with the teeth facing in the direction of cutting.
When inserting the cutting blade, be careful that its rear edge enters the groove of the guide roller . Precision cuts are only possible
if the guide roller rests firmly but not too tightly on the back of the cutting sheet. Tighten the hexagon bolts securely with the key
located at the back of the punch underneath the nozzle to turn on the aspiration system. To replace the knife, use the hexagonal
wrench included in the set. Unscrew counterclockwise both screws holding the knife. Place the new blade, then check that the blade
is firmly engaged. If the cutting blade is not firmly engaged, it can be removed and injured during work.
10. Dust collection system.
Powders released during the processing of materials such as lead paints, certain types of wood, minerals and metals may be
hazardous to health. Skin contact or inhalation of such powders may cause allergic reactions and / or respiratory tract illnesses of
the operator or persons in the vicinity. Certain powders, such as those extracted from beech and oak processing, are considered
to be carcinogenic, especially in combination with wood treatment chemicals (chromate, preservatives, etc.). If possible, use a dust
extraction system. Ensure good ventilation in the workplace. It is recommended to use a breathing mask with Class P2 filter.
10.1. Turn on an aspiration system.
Place the hose of the aspiration system into the nozzle . Connect the hose with an aspiration system or a vacuum cleaner (some
models have an extra vacuum cleaner adapter). The vacuum cleaner used must be suitable for handling the treated material. If dust
is particularly harmful to health or carcinogenic
