Valve does not shut
off after watering at
the scheduled time.
a.
Valve may be
clogged.
Inspect the valve and remove any debris.
b.
Timer’s memory
board is “locked
on.”
Unplug the timer and remove the battery and
fuse. Let the timer sit for three minutes without
power. Then reinstall the battery and fuse, and
plug in the timer. If the surge did no permanent
damage, the timer will accept programming and
resume normal operation. If the timer still does
not work, contact your Rain Bird distributor or the
Technical Assistance Hotline (800-247-3782) for
a service referral.

A station won’t stop
watering and the
timer will not accept
programming.
The Duration dial for
that station is set
to”Manual On”
Turn the Duration dial to another setting.
9.
A single station
does not shut off
after watering.
Valve may be suck
open due to debris.
Inspect the valve and remove any debris.
