will  be  flashing.    To  change  this  digit,  press  the  Top  Button  and  cycle  through  the 
numbers 0-9 until the desired value is displayed.  Then press the Bottom Button to save 
this digit.  The next digit to the left will then be flashing.  Repeat the process until all five 
digits show the desired values.  After the last digit is saved, your 

EMU-2

™ will go to the 

Billing Dates

 screen. 

 

 
Billing Dates

 

 
The 

Billing  Dates 

screen  shows  you  the 

start  and  stop  dates  for  the  current  billing 
period.  This screen can only be accessed 
in Configuration Mode, after going through 
the 

Restart

Select  Language,

  and 

Set 

Rate

 screens.  The billing dates shown are 

used  as  the  current  accumulation  period 
that  is  displayed  on  the 

Total  to  Date

 

screen.    At  the  end  of  the  billing  period, 
the accumulated data is transferred to the 

Previous Totals

 screen, and the next billing period is automatically started. 

The  default  billing  period  is  a  simple  monthly  cycle,  beginning  at  00:00:01  on  the  first 
day of the month, and ending at midnight on the last day of the month.  To change this 
setting, press the Top Button to get to the 

Set Billing Date

 screen.  Otherwise, press the 

Bottom Button to go to the 

Battery

 screen.

The 

Set  Billing  Date

  screen  allows  you  to 

set  the  billing  period  that  will  be  used  as 
the  current  accumulation  period  displayed 
on the 

Total to Date

 screen.   

The  Last  Billing  Date  is  shown  on  the 
lower left of the screen.  If it has not been 
set  before,  it  will  be  the  word  “monthly”, 
and will be flashing.  Press the Top Button 
to  select 

“manual”.  This  will  allow  you  to 

set  the  accumulation  period  manually  in 
the 

Total to Date

 

screen.  If you choose “monthly”, then the billing period is set to the 

default simple monthly cycle described above.
