Remove the baffle plate by lifting it up at one end and tilting it 
slightly at an  angle. 
Carefully pull out the plate. 

Cleaning the flue ways 

Remove the upper baffle plate 
by pushing it up towards the 
smoke leader, tilting it up slightly 
at an angle and the carefully pull 
it out. 

Push up the smoke leader and lift it up from the rivets. Turn it upright and pull it out  
downwards. 
Sweep the smoke box using a hand brush. 

 

Replace everything in reverse order. 

NOTE 
The chamfer on the firebrick should face downwards.
