TOUCHPAD / WALL SWITCH
Increase flame height

To Turn ON Appliance
▪ Press
button (see figure 30) until two short beeps con-
firm the start sequence has begun; release button.
▪ Once pilot ignition is confirmed, there is main gas flow.
If the pilot does not stay lit after several tries, turn the main
valve knob to
OFF
and follow the instructions “TO TURN OFF
GAS TO APPLIANCE” (page 33).
Standby Mode (Pilot Flame)
▪ Press and hold (small flame) button to set appliance at pilot
flame.
To Turn OFF Appliance
▪ Press
button.
Flame Height Adjustment
▪ Press and hold (large flame) button to increase flame height.
▪ Press and hold (small flame) button to decrease flame height
or to set appliance at pilot flame.
If the appliance will not operate, follow the instructions “TO
TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE” (page 33).
TO OPEN AND CLOSE SOLENOID VALVE / BURNER
▪ Simultaneously press the
and (small flame) buttons
to switch the Decorative Burner OFF.
▪ Simultaneously press
and (large flame) buttons but-
tons to switch Decorative Burner on.
NOTE:
The latching solenoid valve cannot operate manually. If
the receiver battery runs down it will remain in the last
operating position.

▪ Press “B” button (see figure 31) until two short beeps confirm

TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE” (page 33).
TO OPEN AND CLOSE SOLENOID VALVE / BURNER
▪ Simultaneously press the “B” and “C” buttons to switch the Dec-
orative Burner OFF.
▪ Simultaneously press “B” and “A” buttons buttons to switch
Decorative Burner on.
NOTE:
