Compatibility setting
This switch is designed to have this converter be compatible with RC901-FE4E1Rev. A and Rev. B.
When RC902-FX4E1-BL communicates with RC902-FE4E1 Rev. A and Rev. B, this switch should be
turned on to disable the new features of this version, such as remote loop back.
When this converter communicates with RC901-FE4E1 Rev. C, this switch should be turned off to enable
remote loop back. If this switch is turned on, the compatibility setting switch of RC901-FE4E1 Rev. C on
the other side of communication should also be turned on and remote loop back function will be disabled.
Setting the compatibility setting switch of both local and remote converters to “ON” is recommended when
communicating with Rev. C converter.
When this converter communicates with RC902-FE4E1 Rev. D, this switch should be turned off to enable
E1 remote loop back and remote network management through Raisecom network management platform.
Ethernet interface operating status setting
The default operating status of Ethernet interface is self-adaptation status with cross-connect
auto-recognition function. Users can modify Ethernet interface operating status by the setting in the
following table:
