“ON AIR” key :
broadcast the incoming call. When pressing the key, a teaching procedure(associated with echo
cancelling) is sent, and the keyboard is disabled for 2 seconds. Should the return signal to degrade,
pressing « On air » reinitiate the sequence, to improve the signal quality.

COUPLED :
the two correspondants comunicate in Full Duplex. The send to A signal is mixed with the B return,
and vice versa..

Send signal to B = SEND B + RETURN A

“SEND” Control panel:
this panel features a level meter and a send level control. Internal TEL 400 level limter send
the appropriate signal level according to the telephonee switch board. When “Limit.” lights, the
signal is limited. For better audio, reduce “Send” level.

“RETURN” control panel :
this panel features a level meter and a send level control. When the incoming signal is too low,
increase it with the « Return » pot.

MIX AB on rear panel:
alows using TEL 400 with mixing desk with only one hybrid input (like compact II). In that case
the channel A only is used. Channel A input is sent to A and B and returns from A and B are
mixed to A output.
