Note:
Water temperature in a bath can vary from one side to another. Do not rely on this product as
your primary and only means of checking and testing the bathwater temperature. Always try the water
temperature in the bath with your hand and forearm before placing your child in the bath.
Replacing the Batteries
Note: Before replacing the batteries, please ensure the Thermometer is completely dry.
1.
To replace the batteries, first remove the outer skin from the inner product housing. Push down on
the LCD with your thumbs while holding the outer skin with your other fingers. Once removed, the
inner product housing.
2. Use a mini screwdriver to remove the 8 mini screws from the bottom of the inner product house.
3. Remove the battery cover from the inner product housing, taking care not to lose any of the 8 screws.
Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries. Be sure to insert the new batteries with the proper
polarity (+/- orientation). See Figure 1.
4. Ensure that the o-ring (the waterproof-ring) is properly aligned first, then replace the battery cover
using the 8 screws and tighten.
Please Note:
If the o-ring is not aligned into its groove before replacing
the battery cover, water leakage may occur which may damage the unit beyond repair.
5. Test for correct battery installation by applying a small amount of moisture to the 3 water sensor
buttons. The LCD should turn on and activate, indicating that the batteries have been successfully
installed.

Reinsert the inner product housing into the thermometer’s outer skin.

Additional Warnings:
• The thermometer is designed for bath use only. Do not use in swimming pools, or in any other
environments.
• It is recommended to remove the batteries if the thermometer will be stored for a long period of time.
• When changing batteries, be sure to insert batteries using the correct polarity to prevent battery
leakage (+/- orientation).
•
Do not leave the thermometer in the water for an extend period of time.
• After use, always dry the thermometer and the water sensors located on the thermometer’s underside.
This will prolong battery life.
• To clean the thermometer, rinse in clean water and dry thoroughly.
•
Do not mix new and old batteries.
