2. Loose the tightening screws so that the supports move freely.
3. Measure the width of RD cutter-crusher jaw and adjust the width of assembling
stand supports accordingly (+5...+10 mm (0.20...+0.39 in)). Notice the teeth,
weldings, etc. when measuring the width.
4. Tighten the tightening screws and make sure that the supports can not move.
CHANGING THE JAWS
Warning! Obey all safety instructions mentioned in the operation and
maintenance manual.
Warning! Only professionally skilled mechanics are allowed to change the
jaws. Do not try to change the jaws without knowledge.
Warning! Keep other people away when changing the jaws.
Warning! The cutter-crusher and jaws must be secured from falling down in
either direction when handling it.
Note: When changing steel jaws the lighter jaw must always be installed first and
removed last. In other words there should not be a situation when only the heavier
steel jaw is installed. This is for better stability to keep jaw open.
Note: When changing the jaws always fasten it to the cylinder first.
Note: Even if the cutter-crusher is mounted on the excavator and should not drop
down unexpectedly, do not rely only on the hydraulics to keep the cutter-crusher
from dropping down.
Obey extreme caution when changing the jaws!
