Rammy Flail mower belt replacement and other maintenance
instructions (3 sides).
A Rammy meadow mower requires proper maintenance in order for it to function safely,
reliably and for a long time.

Grease the end bearings of the
drum. The proper dose is 1–2
strokes of the lubricator.
Excessive lubricant can loosen the
gasket. There are grease nipples
on the sides of the bearings. Close
the nipples with plugs.
Check the tightness of the
fastening screws of the bearing. If
necessary, add glue.
Tighten the fastening screws of
the bearing. Check the bolted
joints of the engine, the
transmission and other parts.

Re-tighten the locking screws of
the belt pulleys. Check the
tightness and fastening of the
pulley screws. Check the wedge
position.
Check the belt condition. Replace
a worn belt by removing the
pulley. Loosen two hex socket
screws and insert one screw in the
empty thread. Tighten the screw
releasing the lock. Install a new
belt and slide the pulley back to
the axle. Tighten the hex socket
screws evenly one by one in their
original places.
Check the condition and fastening
of the springs.
Check the condition and the
bearings of the belt tensioner,
and check the tightness of the
nut.
Check the fastening and mobility
of the clutch lever. Tighten the
hinge pin nut, if there is play in
the lever. Move the lever back
and forth. Check the neutral
position of the clutch. The spring
should pull the wishbone of the
clutch against the larger pulley.
The belt should be loose enough
to remove it from the pulley at
the engine side.
Check the fastening of the safety
pins of the belt (3 pcs). Adjust the
