The display of the R&S Spectrum Rider is a TFT color LCD display.
The ideal brightness of the display depends on the intensity of the backlight. To
strike a balance between battery operating time and screen display quality, set
the backlight intensity to the minimum brightness needed.
To optimize the viewing angle, adjust the display color scheme settings. To ach-
ieve the maximum contrast, the screen can be switched from color display to
black-and-white display.
The intensity of the keyboard backlight is adjustable with a time delay setting to
turn off the backlight. The keyboard backlight remains on until the time specified
by the "Keyboard Backlight Delay" or a subsequent key is pressed.

1. In the "Instrument Setup" dialog box, select the "Display Backlight" item.
2. Enter the backlight intensity you want with the numeric keys.
