The REF Output connectors can be used to provide an external reference signal
(or the optional OCXO reference signal) from the R&S
FSV/A to other devices
that are connected to this instrument.
Various connectors are provided for different reference signals:

To provide a 640 MHz reference signal from the

To provide an external reference signal to the
R&S
FSV/A.

IF Output
The female BNC connector can be used to output the intermediate frequency (IF).

Video Output
The female BNC connector can be used to provide video output (1 V).
For details, see the user manual.

Aux. Port
A 9-pole SUB-D male connector used to provide low-voltage TTL
control signals (max. 5
V). The output signals can be used to con-
trol external devices.
