Changing the Radio Air Interface Netmask

Press softkey to open the editor for the air
interface netmask.
2.
Use the knob or the numeric keypad to
edit each of the four numbers of the net-
mask separately.
3.
To select the next number press the ‘point’
key.
4.
Press 'ENT' to confirm.
A message box appears: 'Please reboot the
radio to make this change take effect.'
Due to internal limitations of the air network,
the air interface netmask is restricted to the
range of
•
255.255.128.0 to 255.255.255.255 in the
network modes ROB and PRF and
•
255.255.255.128 to 255.255.255.255 in
RS-IRP mode.
