Although it is not required, it helps to anchor the balancer to
the floor using concrete anchors through the holes
provided. If you do not wish to bolt the balancer to the floor
it will be necessary to weight the balancer down with ballast.

MOUNTING THE HOOD ASSEMBLY

1. Locate the hood assembly and open the accessory box
and remove the hood assembly hardware and hood spring.

2. Use help and carefully assemble the hood as described
below.

3. Attach the hood mounting bracket to the rear of the
balancer cabinet using the 3/8” allen bolts and washers.
