For an air handler without a filter section:
On the inlet of the air handler, install horizontal and

nts. The mo

tside of the air handler.
For an air handler with a filter section:
First, attach the filter section to the air handler. Then, bolt the
inlet hood horizontal and

pright mo
u
nts to the inlet of the filter section

ith the angles opening to
w
ards
the inside of the filter section.

ith fi

e 3/8-16 bolts (P/N 20517) and flat

ashers
(P/N 20515) each; the recei

ing ri

t (P/N 91120106)

ill be factory installed on the air handler or filter
section. Horizontal mo

nts (P/N 13505091) are attached

e TEK self-tapping scre

s (P/N 13404).
Prior to installing the mo

nts, seal the gap bet
w
een the mating s
u
rfaces of the air handler/filter section
and the mo
u
nts
w
ith the pro
v
ided foam tape (P/N 92700017).
When installing the top horizontal mo
u
nt directly to the air handler
w
itho
u
t a filter section, foam tape
sho
u
ld NOT be
u
sed. In this case, the hard
w
are on the lip of the air handler roof panel sho
u
ld be remo
v
ed,
the mo
u
nt slid
u
nder the lip and hard
w
are re-installed. Foam tape to be
u
sed on remaining three sides.
To install inlet hood on an exterior

all, drill holes e
v
ery 8" (20.3 cm) in the flanges of the inlet hood and
mo
u
nt
w
ith lag bolts (pro
v
ided by others).
