MCD switches can work with the following Raritan products. Always
connect the
console connector of the MCD switch to another Raritan
product you choose when any integration is wanted.
Note: MCD-LED KVM drawers CANNOT work with the following
Raritan products because it does not have the console connector.
This section briefly introduces the connection methods and benefits of
integration with other Raritan products. For detailed information, refer

Dominion KX II / III:
Benefit:
You can access the MCD switch from anywhere over the Internet.
Connection:
Connect the MCD switch to any channel port of the Dominion KX II or
III. A D2CIM-VUSB or D2CIM-DVUSB is required.
Dominion KX2-101-V2:
Benefit:
You can access the MCD switch from anywhere over the Internet.
Connection:
Connect the MCD switch to Dominion KX2-101-V2.
AV-over-IP Distribution System (RAV-IP):
Benefit:
You can access the MCD switch via the console connected with the
decoder (receiver) unit of the AV-over-IP distribution system, which
can be up to 100 meters (UTP cable) or 10 kilometers (Fiber cable)
away.
Connection:
Connect the MCD switch to the encoder (transmitter) unit of the
AV-over-IP distribution system.
Cat5 Reach DVI:
Benefit:
You can access the MCD switch via the console connected with the
receiver unit of Cat5 Reach DVI, which can be up to 500 meters (150
feet) away.
