One Year Drivetrain Warranty Exclusions
1.
Transaxle: In cases where there is an increase in the
operational noise level, the warranty will not apply. (This
usually occurs due to abusive and excessive strain on the
scooter)
2.
Motor: If damage occurs to commutator of motor as a result
of not replacing motor brushes after heavy wear to brushes.
Motor brushes are wear items and are not warranted.
3.
Brake: One year warranty for electrical function of the brake.
Brake pads are a wear item and will not be warranted.
This warranty also excludes the following
1.
Batteries: Rascal Mobility will replace defective batteries at
no cost during the first six (6) months following date of
purchase. After six months, battery replacement costs are the
responsibility of the original purchaser.
2.
Loss or theft of components (i.e. keys, baskets, etc)
3.
Damage caused by:
Battery fluid spillage or leakage
Abuse, misuse, accident or negligence
Improper operation, maintenance or storage.
Commercial use or other than normal use.
Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without
the specific consent of Rascal Mobility.
Exceeding the specified weight capacity of the unit.
Failure to adhere to product instructions.
Acts of Nature, such as lightening strikes, earthquakes,
etc.
Circumstances beyond the control of Rascal Mobility.
4.
ANY PARTS ALTERED OR REPAIRED BY AN UNAUTHORIZED
PERSON.
