5. Troubleshooting and Treatment
During operations, if any problems occurred, please check the following table before repairing.
If the above problem cannot be fixed still, turn off the main power or the switch, and contact Shun
Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (Tel: 2406-5666), and be reminded that the official invoice and
guarantee certificate must be presented for checking and repairing service. To avoid any danger
and damage to the appliance, do not disassemble or repair by yourself.
Situation
Check
Range hood does not operate.
- Is power switch on at the panel?
- Is the electricity on suspension?
- Is the plug connected firmly?
Weak suction power
- Is the distance between the cooking
surface and range hood larger than the
specified value?
- Are there many opened windows
and doors in the surroundings?
- Is the exhaust air pipe too long/ too many
turns?
- Is there a strong wind in the outside
environment?
Range hood is noisier than usual or
vibrating.
- Is the filter fixed properly?
- Is the filter contaminated by grease?
