3. When prompted, turn the steering wheel 90° to allow the SmarTrax system to detect the hydraulic pressure
change. Once the system has detected the static and differential pressures, the following screen will be
displayed:

4. Verify the Viper Pro displays the correct steering operation message as indicated in Figure 9 above.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to increase the disengage setting to require more steering input to disengage
SmarTrax or to decrease the disengage setting to require less steering input.

SMARTRAX SYSTEMS WITH A FLOW SWITCH OR PRESSURE SWITCH INSTALLED
IMPORTANT:
This section applies only to SmarTrax systems utilizing a flow switch or pressure switch to disengage the
SmarTrax system when the steering wheel is turned. If a pressure transducer is installed in the SmarTrax
system, refer to the System Disengage Calibration section on page 77 to
calibrate the SmarTrax system.
