Using the product 

Setting the volume 

  Place the radio controlled talking button clock with base down on 

a flat surface so that the black 

Talk Button

 is facing up.  

  To increase the volume, turn the 

“Volume Wheel”

 away from the 

“DC Input Jack Socket”

.

  

  To decrease the volume, turn the 

“Volume Wheel”

 towards the 

“DC Input Jack Socket”

 

  To check the volume level press the 

Talk Button

 and adjust the 

“Volume Wheel”

 until you are happy with the volume level.

 

Time and Date announcement 

To hear a time or date announcement press the 

Talk Button

.  

  One press for time 

  Second press for date 

  T

hird press will announce either ‘

UK  time  updated

’ this means 

that  the  clock  has  picked  up  the  radio-controlled  time  and  date 
signal and has set itself automatically 

The time will adjust automatically when the clocks change in spring 
and autumn for daylight saving.  
If the clock announces ‘

UK time NOT updated

‘ then it has not yet 

received the radio controlled time and date signal. In this instance 
please press and hold the 

“Mode Button” 

for 5 seconds

 

until you 

hear 

‘UK time updated’

 leave the clock by a window for 5 minutes 

without pressing any of the buttons. After 5 minutes the clock should 
be set. If not, please repeat the process.  
If your clock is not receiving the signal it is likely to be due to location. 
In this instance please set the clock manually (please see page 3).
