Never look directly at the laser beam, even
when wearing goggles.
Never direct the laser beam at other people
or animals.
Changing the batteries
Open battery compartment lid (3). Insert
two AA batteries. Check that the polarity is
correct. Close battery compartment lid.
Remove the batteries if the cross laser is not
to be used for a prolonged period.
Use
Undo the lock screw (8).
Place the cross laser on a surface that is level
or slants less than 4°.
The cross laser has a thread in the base, so
you can also mount it on a tripod or similar
stand.
The cross laser will level itself in a few
seconds.
Switch on the horizontal laser line using the
on/off button (1), or switch on the vertical
laser line using the on/off button (2) to
project either a horizontal or vertical line.
Switch on both laser lines to project a cross
with the lines at right angles to each other.
Turn the cross laser so the laser marking hits
the required spot on the wall or fl oor.
The laser marking is easier to see when you
have the supplied goggles on.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the cross laser with a well-wrung cloth
containing a small amount of household
detergent, if necessary.
Activate the lock button before transporting
or storing the cross laser.
